Art in support of inclusion and education, a stage for growth and sharing. This is what is demonstrated by “On the Move”, the theatrical show created by the Istituto Comprensivo IV of Udine and performed over the last two days at the Auditorium Zanon.

The brainchild of the Drama Club of the “E. Fermi” Middle School and the final stage of a four-year theater project, “On the Move” brought together hundreds of students in a journey of cooperation and creativity, transcending the simple school performance to become a true event of community cohesion.

The show, which received great appreciation, was an educational journey, an example of how school can be a laboratory of talents and authentic relationships. It celebrated the conclusion of a year of artistic workshops, actively involving students of all levels, from kindergarten to secondary school. The enthusiasm of children and adults confirmed the effectiveness of this approach, which was able to merge the educational aspect with the artistic and multilingual one, also having the honor of participating in the prestigious Mittelteatro festival in Cividale.

The project embraced a 360-degree educational approach, integrating musical education, singing activities, rhythm and movement, for complete personal and relational development. Children in nursery and first grades of primary school were introduced to music through sensory and rhythmic paths, promoting trust and integration. Group musical practice stimulated collaboration and exchange, while external experts guided the third, fourth and fifth grades of primary school in singing activities, enhancing vocal expression. A touching moment was the inclusion of choral audio from primary schools, making each child an active part of the performance and strengthening the sense of belonging.

The students of the first classes of secondary school had a first approach to the theater, exploring their communicative potential, while the Drama Club, with activities also in English, strengthened the expressiveness and the sense of group. The live accompaniment of the school musical group with ukulele and voices enriched the show, making it even more engaging.

The success of “On the Move” is the result of the synergy between teachers, external experts, students and families. Fundamental to the success of the project is the contribution provided by professors Maria Antonella Lovato and Cristina Fabris, coordinated by professor Miriam Inserra and supported by the Headmaster Guido Zoncu.
